Economic Empowerment
Objective : Women and youths from Dalits and marginalized groups are engaged in enterprises and business activities to create economic opportunities and self-employment.
Activities:
- Entrepreneurship skill development training, shoe-making and tailoring training, including distribution of machines for Dalit women and youth to promote their traditional occupation and generate self-employment opportunity.
- Dhaka weaving training for marginalized women.
- Sanitizer, toilet cleaner, phenyl, liquid soap-making training for Dalits and marginalized women.
- Three months musical training for Dalit youths.
- Establishment of the market center for selling shoes and clothes.
- Goat management training and support to goat raising for Dalit women with the distribution of improved breeds
