Discourse with Local Government and NGOs about Gender Responsive Policy to Disaster Preparedness and Response. – Dalit Women Network

On 13th April 2025, Discourse with Local Government and NGOs about gender responsive policy to disaster preparedness and response was held at krishna catering service, kirtipur-9, Bringing together local government, NGOs representatives ,Dalit women activists,women human right defenders and disaster management actors. The event was graced by chief guest , Mr krishna Man Dangol mayor of kirtipur municipality. The event, attended by 41 participants and facilitated by an external facilitator Mrs Gita subedi ,GESI specialist. Through this event, 41 participants were sensitized and oriented on inclusive DRRM strategies and practices, and municipal representative committed to updating local DRRM plans from marginalized perspectives.
