Bi-monthly discussion forums for women and youth/adolescent groups. – Dalit Women Network

“Engagement of Local Government and Citizens to Prevent Gender-based Violence through Social Norms Change,” bi-monthly forums held for women and youth/adolescent groups.On 15th May ,2025 at Tilaurakot Hotel ,Taulihawa Kapilvastu Municipality.The Forum, attended by 47 participants 46 female and 6 male.Forums is a platform to discuss issues related to gender-based violence, caste-based discrimination, and untouchability. Group members identify the issues and discuss how problems can be addressed to prevent and respond to violence and discrimination through changing social norms and discriminatory practices. Initially, two group members will be gathered in one place to discuss the issues of Dalit women and Dalit adolescent girls, and the project will be introduced to the local government and concerned stakeholders.
